Candi creates consumer and commercial apps for device interface from mobile, PC and other displays. We work with you to understand business goals and customer needs, then tailor a branded solution. Graphic and technical elements are coordinated with your team.

Our web apps are faster to customize, deploy and update, and operate across multiple platforms. We can also develop native apps for specific channels like the Apple iTunes and Android stores. Apps work from a local low-cost gateway provided by you or Candi partners, or from the cloud.

Cloud Services

Candi can link optional cloud-based services to our apps. They add features and value to user interfaces, such as: secure web portals for remote access, control and monitoring; alerts, events and user responses; data acquisition; local weather; community trends; personalization tools; scene creation and event scheduling; field setup tools; and remote updates.

Cloud services use web standard HTTP, REST interfaces and JSON formatting. We are compatible with SOAP, WSDLs, SQL, XML and other data interchange formats.

Deployment and Support Tools

Candi's goal is that existing contractors, installers and even homeowners can successfully deploy Candi-networked products without requiring sophisticated training or technical expertise.

Our team's extensive field operations experience is reflected in tools designed to simplify on-premises installation and support. For contractors, builders and field service businesses, this means faster rollouts and lower installed costs.

Network Operations

Candi's cloud NOC system resembles business IT monitoring software, but is made for distributed device networks. It monitors performance and connectivity of customer domains and devices.

End user privacy is protected by anonymous keys and opt-out policies. Each device and service has custom threshold levels which can trigger alerts and trouble tickets. Dashboards, reports, business intelligence analytics, diagnostics to assist customer support, and help desk links are available.

Developer API and Library

Our business customers can develop apps and drivers with Candi's open APIs. Three API levels accommodate different developer needs, from in-depth PHP/Javascript/XML/HTML5/CSS architectures to straightforward HTML pages. A drag-and-drop online personalization tool is available for installers and end users.

Our library of device drivers and widgets abstracts proprietary device protocols to simple functions. Queries and responses use HTTP, AJAX, REST, JSON and other web standards.
